Biss 20 – Counting Was Never This Tricky 🦇🔢

Counting from 1 to 20 – how hard can it be? In Biss 20 by Lena and Günter Burkhardt (Drei Magier Spiele) it gets harder every round. A cooperative card game for 2–8 players aged 7+, in about 20 minutes.

Everyone sits in a circle and counts together, each player saying the next number. After every round without a mistake, Fred the bat swaps one number for a task card: instead of saying »7«, you might have to make a gesture or a sound. Round by round, more numbers turn into tasks, and soon you are counting, clapping and squeaking at the same time. If someone makes a mistake or takes longer than three seconds, the team loses a gemstone. How many gemstones you start with depends on the number of players. Clear all 20 numbers before your gemstones run out and the whole team wins. You can choose your level with 6, 10, 14 or 18 task cards, so beginners and experienced players both get a challenge. There is also a competitive variant for those who prefer to play against each other.
