Catan: Starfarers Duel – A Race for the Galactic Council 🚀🪐

A wormhole has brought you to an unknown quadrant of space. In Catan: Starfarers Duel, two players explore it with their own starships, for ages 12+ and about 75 minutes per game.

Starfarers Duel is the revised reboot of the two-player Catan space game Starship Catan from 2001. In the new quadrant you meet four alien races – the Scientists, the Green Folk, the Merchants and the Diplomats. Each player commands a starship and flies out to explore planets. You buy and sell resources, found colonies and set up trade, and you will have to fight pirates along the way. By fulfilling missions you earn the respect of the alien races, and your goal is a seat on the Galactic Council. Five training missions help new players learn the game step by step before they take on the full challenge. Upgrading your starship with modules, boosters and cannons lets you fly further, trade better or win more fights, so each game becomes a race of different strategies. The box contains 2 starships, a sector board, 18 modules, 12 boosters, 12 cannons, 32 astro tokens, 4 colony ships, 4 trade ships, 17 mission cards, 64 sector cards, 2 starting colony cards, 5 objective cards, 2 special point cards, 2 dice, a training missions book, the rules, an overview sheet and 3 storage boxes.
