Rudi Racer – Rudi Is Fast, but the Team Is Smart 🦔🏁

One race, one team and a very speedy opponent – Rudi Racer by Reinhard Staupe is a cooperative dice game for 1 to 4 players aged 4 and up, a great first game.

Lay out the race track: the start card, 24 path cards and the finish. Hedgehog, Dog, Bear and Rudi all line up at the start. On your turn you roll both animal dice and move whoever you rolled: Hedgehog and Rudi move one space, Dog moves two and Bear moves three. The number is printed right on each animal, so even the youngest players can count along. Rudi should really win – but the team has a trick. When you roll two hedgehogs, you may choose: move the hedgehog two spaces, or move the dog or the bear instead. Talk it over with your team, then decide which animal has the strongest chance. If any team animal crosses the finish before Rudi, everyone wins together. If Rudi gets there first, he wins. The first side to win two races wins the game.
