Rattle, flip, scribble – Boggle is the classic Hasbro word game for 1 or more players aged 8 and up, where everyone hunts for words in the same grid of letters at the same time.

Shake the grid to mix the 16 letter cubes, lift the lid and flip the sand timer. Now you have 90 seconds to write down as many words as you can find in the grid, using letters that touch each other – up, down, sideways or diagonally. When time is up, compare your lists. Any word that two or more players found does not count, so the rare finds are what win the game. Longer words score more points, and the player with the highest score wins. For a classic three-minute round, simply flip the timer a second time. On your own, you can play to beat your personal high score.
