Sunrise Lane – Build Your Dream Neighbourhood 🏠🌅

Behind the most serene neighbourhood lies fierce competition. Sunrise Lane by Reiner Knizia, published by Horrible Guild, is a building game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up, in about 45 minutes, with art by Francesco De Benedittis.

The rules are simple: choose a space next to an existing structure and play a card of the same colour to build a house and score points. Play more cards to add floors – the taller the house, the more points. With enough cards in hand you can even build more than one house in a turn, and if a valuable plot is just out of reach, discard any card to build a park and keep your building spree going. You draw a new card at the end of each turn, and sometimes it pays to skip a turn to collect more. At the end, the town plan awards bonus points: the tallest houses in the blue districts, the most houses in the red districts and the largest groups of adjacent houses.
