Build cosy inns on your roads and majestic cathedrals in your cities. Inns & Cathedrals by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede is the first expansion for Carcassonne, for 2 to 6 players aged 7 and up.

Complete a road with an inn and you score 2 points per tile instead of 1. Complete a city with a cathedral and every tile and coat of arms is worth 3 points instead of 2 – big cities suddenly become big prizes. Your new large meeple has double the strength when it comes to majorities, so it helps you take over valuable features from your rivals. A new set of pink figures lets a sixth player join, and score tiles for 50 and 100 points help you keep track of the growing totals. A new river tile with an inn also fits The River mini-expansion. The expansion can be combined with other Carcassonne expansions.
