Wool Gang – Round Up the Runaway Sheep 🐑🐕

George the shepherd is exhausted: it's complete chaos in the valley, the sheep wander wherever they like, and shearing time is approaching. Wool Gang, published by Gigamic, is a card game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, in about 20 minutes.

The smartest way to herd them all together? The village sheepdogs – each with its own skill. Every round has two phases. First, players take turns playing cards into the middle of the table until everyone has played five: Sheep cards can stand alone or join any group of sheep, Jokers take on any number and colour when the dogs are revealed, and Action cards move the sheep around. Then comes the clever part. Each player secretly places two cards face down – up to two sheepdogs, or empty doghouses if you would rather wait. The dogs are revealed and act in order of their initiative value, and each one collects the sheep that match its skill: a group with four different colours, a group with only odd numbers, two lone sheep, and so on. Every collected sheep is worth a point, and the first player to reach 20 points at the end of a round wins.
