The Witcher: Old World – The Path Before Geralt ⚔️🐺

You become a witcher – a professional monster slayer – in the legendary universe of The Witcher. The Witcher: Old World from Go On Board is a competitive adventure board game for 1 to 5 players aged 14 and up, in about 90 to 150 minutes.

The game is set years before the saga of Geralt of Rivia, when monsters roamed the Continent in greater numbers. Five competing schools trained their adepts through brutal regimes before sending them out to seek adventure and help others for coin. You travel across a vast map, embark on masterfully penned quests, make ambiguous moral choices, fight monsters – and sometimes brawl with other witchers to defend your school's honour. During the game you construct your own unique deck of cards by choosing from a wide range of abilities: attacks, dodges and witcher combat magic, known as Signs. Card synergy leads to powerful combos with your school's hallmark abilities. Quests, battles and even dice poker let you earn money, obtain new items and train your skills. You win trophies by killing monsters, winning chaotic tavern brawls against another witcher, training attributes to their highest level and resolving certain quests, and the first player to collect the number of trophies set at the start – four to six – wins instantly. A solo mode lets you set out on the Continent on your own.
