Dune: Imperium – Control the Spice, Control the Universe 🏜️⚔️

Arrakis. Dune. Desert Planet. As the Great Houses of the Landsraad marshal their forces and their spies, whom will you influence, and whom will you betray? Dune: Imperium by Paul Dennen (Dire Wolf) is a strategy game for 1–4 players, in 60–120 minutes.

Dune: Imperium blends deck-building and worker placement. You lead one of eight leaders, each with their own abilities. On your turn you play a card from your hand to send one of your agents to a space on the board – but only to a space that matches the icons on the card. There you gather spice, water or solari, recruit troops or gain influence with the four factions: the Emperor, the Spacing Guild, the Bene Gesserit and the Fremen. When you have placed your agents, you reveal the rest of your hand to buy new cards for your deck and add strength to the conflict. Every round there is a battle to win, with rewards for the strongest forces. Will you seek political allies or rely on military might? Economic strength or subtle intrigues? A council seat… or a sharpened blade? The fate of the Empire hangs on your decisions. The game was nominated for the Kennerspiel des Jahres 2022.
