Scrabble Pokémon from Mattel is two games in one: the classic Scrabble crossword game with a Pokémon twist, and a quick cooperative word game on the other side of the board. For 2 to 4 players aged 8+.

On one side of the double-sided board, you play classic Scrabble. Draw letter tiles, build words on the board and score points for every word you place – but now you can earn extra points by spelling words from the world of Pokémon. The game includes a special glossary of Pokémon words that can be played in the classic game, and each one earns a bonus of 10 points. For a lighter experience, flip the board and try the Scrabble Pokémon mode, which is designed for faster, more casual, cooperative play with easy scoring. Here, everyone works as a team to capture Pokémon by completing Challenge Cards. Draw a card and reveal a challenge such as playing a five-letter word. Complete the challenge and take the card to earn a point. The 50 Challenge Cards include 20 Beginner cards and 30 Standard cards, and six Helper cards give the team a hand along the way. Complete 20 challenges to win together. The two modes make it easy to choose between a classic competitive game and a relaxed cooperative round with younger players.
