Dixit Revelations – Pictures Like Pages from a Magic Book 🎨📜

Gold, ornaments and hidden symbols – Dixit Revelations is the 7th expansion for Libellud's storytelling game, with 84 new cards painted by Marina Coudray.

Libellud describes the set as magical and refined illuminations, and the cards really do look like pages from an old illustrated manuscript, framed with patterns and full of symbolic details. That gives storytellers lots of small things to point at – a key, a bird, a colour – and lots of room for clues with a double meaning. Shuffle the cards into your Dixit game and play as usual. The storyteller picks a card from their hand and gives a clue – a word, a phrase or even a sound. Everyone else secretly chooses one of their own cards that fits, the cards are shuffled and revealed, and players vote for the storyteller's picture. If everyone or nobody finds it, the storyteller scores nothing, so the strongest clues sit somewhere in the middle. Because the style is so different from the base deck, mixing the two makes every hand a little more surprising.
