Forest – Count the Owls Before Anyone Else Does 🌳🦉

Spot, count and grab – Forest is a small pocket card game from Helvetiq for 2 to 5 players aged 6 and up, where a whole fairy-tale forest grows across the table.

Every card shows a piece of forest: tree trunks are laid side by side, leaves are placed across the top. Hidden in the pictures are four kinds of small creatures – owls, Santas, frogs and fairies – with up to four on a single card. On your turn you play one card from your hand of three and draw a new one. If your card brings a creature to seven on the table, call out its name and collect every card showing it. Forget to call it, and the next player can claim the cards first. When the draw pile is empty and nobody has any cards left, the player who collected the most cards wins. A round takes about 15 minutes, and two variants change how you score.
