Alchemists – Discover the Secrets of Alchemy 🧪🔮

Will you uncover the true nature of the ingredients before your rivals do? Alchemists by Matúš Kotry, published by Czech Games Edition, is a deduction game for 2 to 4 players that takes about 120 minutes.

Welcome to the world of Alchemists. Mix ingredients in your laboratory, test the potions – after all, that's what students are for – and use the results to work out the hidden properties of each ingredient. Demonstrate your knowledge by selling potions to adventurers, use the money to buy artifacts that further your research and earn grants. Publish theories to earn reputation – and expose the fallacies published by your rivals. Do you experiment to gain more knowledge, or publish now to score more points? The game is designed to be played with a free app that turns your tablet or smartphone into an ingredient card reader. Versions are available for iOS, Android and Windows, and there is also a web version; a human game master can take the app's place if you prefer. The box includes a double-sided game board, a theory board, 4 laboratory screens, 40 ingredient cards, 22 favour cards, 18 artifact cards, 8 beakers, a deduction pad and more.
