Concordia Balearica / Italia – Islands, Rome and Fish 🗺️🐟

A double-sided board and a fish market – Concordia Balearica / Italia by Mac Gerdts is an expansion for 2 to 5 players. You need Concordia Venus to play.

Balearica shows Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca, and there is no capital to start from. Each player begins with one sea colonist on each starting space between the islands. New colonists appear in cities where you already have houses. Land colonists may cross the sea on your own ships, using one movement step per ship. The other side shows Italia, the centre of Roman power. The fish market, the Forvm Piscatorvm, can be combined with every version of Concordia. When you use the Prefect, provinces give fish instead of the usual bonus goods. At the start of your turn you can spend fish at the market on extra actions, such as a move and build, a trade or a new colonist. Fish fill storehouse spaces like other goods. The rules also explain how the market works with Venus team play and with the forum cards of Concordia Salsa.
