Concordia: Solitaria – Face the Tricky Contrarius 🏛️🎲

Concordia for one or two players. Concordia: Solitaria by Mac Gerdts is a solo and 2-player expansion for Concordia from PD-Verlag.

In Concordia Solitaria, you compete alone or in a team of two against the tricky opponent Contrarius. You play a card from your hand and carry out its action as usual – and then Contrarius reacts with the reaction shown on the very same card. As the cards you play also determine the reactions of your adversary, only skilful planning leads to victory. Contrarius owns houses, colonists and its own card display, but it never plays cards itself, and it can score victory points during play. The game ends under the usual Concordia conditions, and final scoring shows how well you did against it. In a two-player game, you can either compete against Contrarius as a cooperative team – you win or lose together – or challenge it individually. You choose between three difficulty levels (standard, veteran and expert), and you can combine several games into a campaign with increasing difficulty. Concordia Solitaria may be played on any of the maps and with any other expansion for Concordia. You need either the Concordia base game or Concordia Venus to play.
