Robots – Beep… Beep… Where Did It Stop? 🤖🚀

How far does the robot roll in about four seconds? Well, that depends on how fast it goes! Robots from NSV, designed by Reinhard Staupe, is a card game for 2–6 players aged 5+, and a game takes about 15 minutes.

One player takes the role of the robot and secretly looks at a target object on a route card. They announce the speed – snail, robot or rocket – say "Beep" and then travel along the route in their mind, from object to object, at that speed. When they arrive, they say "Beep" a second time and stop. Now everyone else has to work out which object the robot reached, using only the speed and the time between the two beeps. Was it the hair dryer, the cup or the banana? The closer the guess, the more wooden discs you earn. Play as a team and collect as many discs as possible together over 11 rounds, or play against each other and keep your own score. Round after round, the group builds a shared feel for time and speed, and the guesses get better and better. The rules are easy enough for young children, and the game is fun for grown-ups too.
