Specific – Name That Animal 🦁🎲

Do you know an omnivorous animal that has two legs and flies? Specific from Gigamic, by Jean-Claude Pellin and Christian Kruchten, is a quick observation and knowledge game for 2 to 10 players aged 6+, and a game takes about 20 minutes.

Lay out the animal tiles face up in the middle of the table and roll the three special dice. Each die shows one characteristic: where the animal lives, what it eats and how many legs it has. Together, the three traits describe one animal – and everyone races to be the first to identify it among the tiles. Spot it first and you keep the tile, but a wrong guess can cost you, so look carefully before you slap! The rules include variations that make the game suitable for all ages, so younger children and adults can play together at their own level. Along the way, kids discover where animals live, what they eat and how they move, almost without noticing that they are learning. The box is compact and the rules take a minute to explain, so it is ready for family time, classrooms, birthday parties and trips. With up to 10 players, it also works well for bigger groups.
