Imperial Settlers: Amazons – The Warrior Tribe Arrives ⚔️🌿

The warrior tribe of the Amazons, the third big faction expansion, enters the world of Imperial Settlers, the empire-building card game by Ignacy Trzewiczek from Portal Games. The Amazons bring a new deck-building mechanism that lets you choose which of your faction cards you keep.

The Amazons make extensive use of cards with a building bonus. Most of their faction cards produce valuable resources only when they are built, and their cost is usually just a foundation. That small change makes a huge difference: unlike other factions, the Amazons do not discard the faction foundation they use to build another card – they put it back into their faction deck instead. This way you modify your deck during play and keep the cards that suit you. You also gain the ability to discard cards from your hand, which helps you control your next moves, so you can focus on the few cards that will bring you the most victory points. They also receive plenty of bonuses for building their cheap faction cards. Besides the Amazon faction cards and faction board, the box includes new cards for the Barbarians, Egyptians, Japanese and Romans as well as new common cards. Please note: this is an expansion – you need the Imperial Settlers base game to play.
