Katamino – One More Puzzle, Then Another 🧩🪵

A classic of spatial thinking in wood. Katamino by André Perriolat, published by Gigamic, is a puzzle game for 1 or 2 players aged 6 and up, with games from about 10 minutes.

The game has 12 wooden pentominoes – pieces made of five squares – and a board with a movable slider. Place the slider to mark out an area, then fill it completely with the right pieces: four pieces are a warm-up, twelve are a serious challenge. With more than 500 challenges of progressive difficulty in 2D and 3D, there is always a harder puzzle waiting. For two players there is a strategic duel: each takes pieces in turn and races to fill their side of the board first, using the small extra pieces included. It works as a quiet solo puzzle at the table and as a head-to-head challenge between friends or parent and child.
