Ticket to Ride: New York – Taxi Through Manhattan 🚕🗽

The classic route-building game in a compact box, set in the busy streets of 1960s New York. Ticket to Ride: New York by Alan R. Moon, published by Days of Wonder, is a quick game for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up, in about 10 to 15 minutes.

Instead of trains, each player gets 15 taxis. On your turn, you either draw transportation cards, claim a route on the map by playing a set of matching cards, or take new destination tickets. Every claimed route scores points straight away, and at the end, completed destination tickets add to your score – while unfinished ones count against you. On top of that, you earn bonus points for every tourist attraction your routes connect, from Central Park to the Empire State Building. With so few taxis, every choice counts, and the game ends quickly once someone runs low. It is the familiar Ticket to Ride feeling packed into a short, fast format: a great introduction for newcomers and children, and a handy filler for fans who want a quick round between bigger games or on the go.
