If your deck has started to feel predictable, the Absurd Box is here to set it on fire. It adds 300 pretty weird cards – both black prompt cards and white answer cards – that you simply shuffle into the cards you already own. The rules stay the same as in the main game. Everyone holds a hand of white cards, and in each round one player is the Card Czar. The Czar draws a black card and reads its question or fill-in-the-blank phrase aloud. Everyone else answers by passing one white card face down to the Czar – or two, when the black card asks for it. The Czar shuffles the answers, reads each combination out loud and picks the funniest one; that player wins the round and earns an Awesome Point. Then everyone refills their hand and the next player takes over as Card Czar. With 300 new cards, you get plenty of fresh, surreal combinations. Like the main game, Cards Against Humanity is made for adults, so keep this box for grown-up game nights.
