Port Royal – Fortune Awaits in the Harbour ⚓💰

In the harbour of Port Royal life is bustling, and you hope to make the deal of your life – but don't risk too much, or your cargo holds will stay empty. Port Royal by Alexander Pfister, published by Pegasus Spiele, is a card game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, playing in about 20 to 50 minutes.

On your turn you draw cards from the deck into the harbour, one at a time, and you may stop whenever you like. But if a ship appears in the same colour as a ship already in the harbour and you cannot repel it, your turn ends at once and the whole harbour is discarded. When you stop in time, you take cards from the harbour – more of them if many different ship colours are on display – and the other players may also buy a card from your harbour by paying you a coin. Ships bring you coins, and you reinvest your profit to win the favour of governors and admirals and to hire people who help you reach your goals. Extend your influence and you might even answer the call of a prestigious expedition. When a player reaches 12 influence points, the round is played to the end and the most influence wins.
