Jekyll vs. Hyde – A Duel for One Mind 🎭🧪

Based on the famous novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. Jekyll vs. Hyde by Geonil, published by Mandoo Games, is a trick-taking card game for exactly 2 players.

One player is Dr. Jekyll, who must resist Mr. Hyde's fierce attacks to protect his mind; the other is Mr. Hyde, who wants to overcome Jekyll's identity. The game is played over three rounds of ten tricks each. At the start of every round, each player gets ten cards and exchanges some of them with the opponent – one card in the first round, two in the second, three in the third. The twist: the three colours – Pride, Wrath and Greed – have no fixed rank. The first colour played in a round becomes the lowest, the second the middle, and the last one automatically the highest. Potion cards bring special effects, such as stealing a trick, swapping cards or resetting the colour ranks. After each round, the Identity Marker moves towards Hyde's side depending on the tricks won. If it reaches the end of the track, Mr. Hyde wins; if not after three rounds, Dr. Jekyll escapes his dark influence.
