The Game: Face to Face – Help Your Rival to Win 💥🃏

In the two-player version of The Game, you no longer play with each other but against each other. The Game: Face to Face by Steffen Benndorf and Reinhard Staupe, published by NSV, is a duel for 2 players aged 8 and up, in about 20 minutes.

Each player has their own 58 number cards (2–59), an ascending pile and a descending pile. On your turn you must play at least two cards. On your own piles the classic rules apply: ascending piles go up, descending piles go down – and with the backwards trick you may play a card exactly 10 lower or higher. Once per turn, you may put one card on your opponent’s pile – but only to improve it. Do that and you refill your hand to six cards; otherwise you only draw two. The first player to play all 58 cards wins – but if you can’t play two cards, you lose at once.
