Splendor – Build Your Prestige, One Gem at a Time 💎🏛️

A fast-paced and accessible strategy game that has become a modern classic. Splendor by Marc André is a board game from Space Cowboys for 2–4 players aged 10 and up, in about 30 minutes.

You lead a guild of merchants striving for prestige. Each turn is quick: one action, and one action only. Take three gem tokens of different colours, take two tokens of the same colour, reserve a development card and take a gold joker, or buy a development card with your tokens. Each card represents a step forward in your quest for wealth: the gem bonus on it reduces the cost of your future purchases, so you obtain new cards more easily – mines, means of transport and artisans that turn raw stones into magnificent jewels. Many cards also bring prestige points. Sway the nobles and gain their prestige points by being the first to fulfil their conditions – development cards of the specified colours. The end of the game is triggered as soon as a player reaches 15 prestige points, and the most prestigious merchant is crowned the winner. Simple rules learned in just a few minutes, tactical depth in every decision and fast games that are always different make Splendor a favourite with families, friends and light strategy fans alike.
