Taco Loco – Don't Overstuff the Taco! 🌮🃏

Taco Loco from Helvetiq is a quick card game about building tacos without ruining them. It was designed by TREO Game Designers and illustrated by Crocotame. It is for 2 to 5 players aged 7+ and takes about 15 minutes.

Everyone starts with three cards, and the first card from the draw pile becomes the taco base. On your turn, you play one card onto a taco, announce the new total and draw a card. If the total is below 11, the taco is not ready yet and play passes on. If it is exactly 11, you have made an ideal taco and give the whole pile to any player you like. If you go over 11, the taco is ruined and you must take it yourself. Whenever you want to play the same number as the last card on a taco, you must start a new taco instead, so several tacos can be on the table at once. Two special cards add spice. The Legendary Taco makes any taco total 11 straight away. The Lonesome Taco can counter a Legendary Taco before you choose who receives it, or reset a taco to zero, which can make it dangerously large. When all the cards have been played, the player with the fewest cards in front of them wins.
