Coyote – Keep the Beat, Do the Action 🥁🐺

Coyote is a fast party card game created by Tim Ferriss and published by Exploding Kittens. It is for 3 to 8 players aged 10+, and a game takes about 10 minutes.

Lay out a row of Action Cards – one per player, or six with three players. Each card has a word and an action. Everyone thumps the table twice, think of the famous stadium beat, and the first player says and does the first card. Thump, thump – the second player does the second card, and so on around the table. Sounds easy? Each new round, the first player draws three cards and adds one to the line. Coyote Cards change how certain actions are played, for example for every card of one colour, and Attack Cards let you sabotage a single player or one action card. Miss the beat, act out of turn or forget a modifier and you take a penalty card – three penalties and you are out. The last player standing wins. Prefer to play together? A cooperative mode lets the whole table win or lose as a team, and blank cards let you invent your own actions.
