Minecraft: Heroes of the Village – Defend the Village Together 🧱🛡️

A first cooperative game that Minecraft fans will recognise straight away. In Minecraft: Heroes of the Village from Ravensburger, 2–4 players aged 7+ work as one team to protect the village from an Illager raid.

Each player picks a hero and a faithful pet. On your turn you have two actions: explore the world by adding a new tile, collect blocks by drawing wooden pieces from the pouch, fight mobs with the fight die, or go back to the village and build. Wood, stone, sand and redstone go into the three buildings the team needs, and a dark block can stand in for any of them. Pets help with special abilities – a wolf, a panda or a fox can make collecting or fighting easier. At the end of every turn you roll the Illager die, and the raiders may move one step closer to the village. Finish all three buildings before they arrive, and everyone wins together. A game takes about 20–25 minutes, so there is often time for a second round.
