EXIT + Puzzle: The Sacred Temple – A Race to the Hidden Temple 🏺🧩

A team of archaeologists sets off for Indonesia in search of an undiscovered temple – but treasure hunters are also on its trail. EXIT: The Game + Puzzle – The Sacred Temple by Inka and Markus Brand and Juliane Voorgang (Kosmos) combines an escape room game with jigsaw puzzles. It is for 1–4 players aged 10+ and is rated beginner level.

Instead of a game board, this EXIT adventure uses four jigsaw puzzles with 88 pieces each. As you assemble them, the pictures reveal new places and clues, and the riddles hide right in the puzzle images. Together with 12 riddle documents, 3 strange items and the decoder disk, you crack codes and work your way to the temple – step by step, puzzle by puzzle. If you get stuck, the rules contain hints and solutions, so nobody stays stuck for long. The game is cooperative: you play as a team, share your discoveries and solve the riddles together. As with every EXIT game, it is meant to be played once, because the materials are altered during play. A tutorial is available in the KOSMOS app. A good choice for those new to escape room games and for puzzle fans looking for something different.
