Knister – Same Numbers, Different Choices 🎲✏️

No waiting, no complicated rules, just one big question every round: where does this number go? Knister by Heinz Wüppen, once known as Würfelbingo, is a roll-and-write dice game for 1 to 12 players aged 8 and up.

Each round, one player rolls both dice and calls out the sum. Every player, including the roller, writes that number into any empty box of their own 5×5 grid. After 25 rounds all grids are full, and the scoring begins. Every row, column and both diagonals score for poker-style combinations: a pair, two pairs, three or four of a kind, five of a kind, a full house or a straight of five numbers in any order. A straight without a 7 is the hardest to build and scores the most. The two diagonals count double, so the centre box matters a lot. Everyone hears the same numbers, yet every grid ends up different – and the highest total wins. Played solo, you chase a personal record: NSV calls more than 100 points amazing.
