Railroad Ink Challenge: Shining Yellow – Draw Your Network 🎲🌵

Railroad Ink Challenge: Shining Yellow Edition from Horrible Guild is a quick roll-and-write game by Hjalmar Hach and Lorenzo Silva, with art by Marta Tranquilli. It is for 1 to 4 players aged 8+ and plays in about 15 to 30 minutes.

At the start of each round, the Route dice are rolled once, and every player draws the same rolled routes on their own board with a dry-erase marker, all at the same time. Connect railways and highways to the exits around your board. The bigger your network, the more points you score, but every open connection costs you, so plan carefully. Goal cards add extra targets for everyone. This edition includes two optional expansions with their own dice and goal cards. The Desert expansion is the easier one and lasts six rounds: heat waves sweep the land, and cacti drawn beside oases survive them, each scoring a point. The Canyon expansion is harder and lasts seven rounds: your longest canyon scores a point per segment, canyons that reach the edge at both ends score extra, and bridges over them can earn points too. The box contains 4 Route dice, 2 Desert dice, 2 Canyon dice, 4 boards, 4 markers and 12 goal cards.
