Railroad Ink: Underground – Dig Below the Surface 🚇💧

Take your network underground. Railroad Ink: Underground Expansion Pack by Hjalmar Hach and Lorenzo Silva (Horrible Guild) adds four new dice to the roll-and-write Railroad Ink series, for 1 or more players aged 8+. You need Railroad Ink or Railroad Ink Challenge to play.

In Railroad Ink, dice are rolled in the middle of the table each round, and everyone draws the same routes on their own board, trying to connect as many exits as possible. The Underground dice show Subway Routes and Water Pipes – two networks that can never connect to each other. You can use them in two ways. In Standalone mode, you play only on an Underground board for seven rounds, using the four Underground dice instead of the normal Route dice. In Expansion mode, each player uses two boards: a Surface board with the usual white Route dice and an Underground board with the new dice, alternating between Surface and Underground rounds for 14 rounds in total. The two boards interact: if a surface Station sits on the same space as a Subway Station, it becomes a Hub and earns points, but drawing a Station on top of a Water Pipe breaks the pipe and costs you points. It is a hard expansion that rewards careful planning on two levels at once.
