Frantic – Find New Enemies, Playfully 😈🃏

Get rid of your cards as fast as possible – but be aware: your fellow players are desperately trying to prevent it! Frantic, the mischievous card game from Rulefactory, is for 2–8 players aged 12+.

At the beginning of every round, all players receive the same number of cards and try to discard them as quickly as possible. On your turn, play a card – colour on colour or number on number – or draw one from the deck. The basic deck has red, yellow, blue and green cards from 1 to 9. Special cards add the spice: a player has few cards left? Give them a Gift of two cards from your hand. Someone wants you to draw more cards? Make them draw instead. Someone wants to end the round? Nice Try! – and they draw three more cards. Then there are the black cards, numbered 1 to 9, which can only be played on the same number – and every black card triggers an event card that affects all players. Events range from Friday the 13th, where nothing happens at all, to Tornado, which shuffles all hands together and deals them out again, and Doomsday, which ends the round on the spot. When a player has no cards left, the others count the points in their hands; once someone reaches the maximum score, the player with the lowest score wins.
