Star Realms – Build Your Fleet, Rule the Stars 🚀🪐

A fast deck-building game of space combat. Star Realms by Robert Dougherty and Darwin Kastle, published by Wise Wizard Games, is a card game for 2 players aged 12 and up, in about 20 minutes.

Both players start with a small deck of Scouts and Vipers and 50 Authority points. Scouts give you trade, which you spend on new ships and bases from the trade row in the middle of the table; Vipers give you combat, which you use to attack your opponent or destroy their bases. New cards go into your discard pile, so your deck becomes stronger as the game goes on. The cards belong to four factions – the Trade Federation, the Blob, the Star Empire and the Machine Cult – and when you play several cards of the same faction, their ally abilities trigger and create powerful combos. Bases stay in play and protect you, while ships are used once per turn. The first player to bring their opponent's Authority to zero wins. The box contains 128 cards and is compact enough to take anywhere.
