Terraforming Mars: Colonies – Send Your Fleet to Distant Moons 🪐🚀

Corporations expand their operations to all corners of the solar system in pursuit of minerals and resources. Terraforming Mars: Colonies by Jacob and Jonathan Fryxelius lets you visit the outer solar system. It can be played with only the base game or with any combination of expansions.

Most places in the solar system are not suited for terraforming, but building colonies may greatly improve your income and your chances of reaching the higher goal: the terraforming of Mars. The expansion is built around colony tiles that represent moons and other locations. The number of colony tiles in play depends on the number of players. Building a colony is a new standard project that costs 17 M€, and each colony immediately gives you a benefit. Each tile has room for only three colonies in total, and each player may have just one colony per tile. Trading is a new action: pay 9 M€, 3 energy or 3 titanium and send your trade fleet to a colony tile. You receive the trade income shown on the tile's track, and every player with a colony there receives the colony bonus. Each tile can host only one trade fleet at a time, and when the generation ends, all fleets return and the markers on the tracks move up again. New project cards and corporations are added too.
