That's Pretty Clever – Dice, Choices and Chain Bonuses 🎲🧠

Choose your dice cleverly, mark them in the matching colour areas and put together tricky chains of bonuses. That's Pretty Clever (German: Ganz schön clever) by Wolfgang Warsch (Schmidt Spiele) is a roll-and-write dice game for 1–4 players aged 8+, in about 30 minutes.

The active player rolls all six dice, picks one and uses its value and colour to mark the score sheet; the white die is wild. Every die showing a lower value goes onto the Silver Platter. You roll again with what is left – up to three times. Then the other players each choose one die from the Silver Platter, so the dice you leave behind are just as important as the ones you take. The score sheet has five colour areas with their own rules: cross off numbers in yellow, add blue and white together for the blue area, climb the green row, multiply in orange and keep rising in purple. Bonuses let you mark extra spaces right away and can set off whole chains, while rerolls and extra dice can be saved for later. Foxes score the value of your weakest area. A game lasts four, five or six rounds depending on the number of players, and the solo mode tells you how clever you really are.
