Scout – Put On the Greatest Show 🎪🃏

You have suddenly been made the leader of a circus. Scout by Kei Kajino, published by Oink Games and nominated for the Spiel des Jahres, is a quick card game for 2 to 5 players aged 9 and up, in about 20 minutes.

Every card shows two numbers, and the twist is simple: you may never rearrange your hand – you can only flip your whole hand once at the start of the round. On your turn, either Show adjacent cards with the same or consecutive numbers to beat the set on the table, or Scout a card from either end of that set and slot it anywhere into your hand. Each card you scout can be added with whichever of its two numbers fits your plans. One well-timed scout can set off a chain reaction that builds a show no rival can beat. Will you play your current members or wait for the right recruit? Play as many rounds as there are players; captured cards and scout chips score points, and cards left in your hand cost points.
