Two big maps that play completely differently. Ticket to Ride Map Collection Volume 7: Japan & Italy by Alan R. Moon, published by Days of Wonder, is an expansion with a double-sided board for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, in about 30 to 60 minutes.

Japan plays small and tight. Here you choose between your own tracks and the Bullet Train network: Bullet Train routes can be used by every player to complete Destination Tickets, and whoever contributes most to this shared project earns the biggest bonus – and players who build no Bullet Trains at all will feel the consequences. Zoomed-in areas show the Kyushu island and the Tokyo subway. Italy, on the other hand, plays big: long routes, a new kind of Ferry route and 17 named regions. Connect cities from as many regions as possible in one network to score extra points at the end. To play, you need the trains, scoring markers and Train Car cards from Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride: Europe.
