CATAN – Connect – Everyone Plays at Once 🏝️⏱️

Experience CATAN at a new pace with CATAN – Connect by Klaus Teuber! In this fast edition, 4–6 players start each round at the same time on a large island world, with app support for the timer and dice. It is for ages 10+ and a game takes about 30 minutes.

Instead of waiting for your turn, everyone plays together. The players explore the island and race to secure strong building spots in neighbouring areas. Each round, the digital CATAN Assistant app rolls one shared result for everyone and announces which side of the table, sun or moon, is active. All players collect resources and trade at the same time, while players on the active side may also build roads, settlements and cities and buy development tokens. The app also introduces the robber, and the active side switches every round, so the action never stops. Predetermined round times keep everyone moving. You should already know the rules of the classic CATAN game, as Connect describes only the changes. A game needs an even number of players: two boards are used for four players and three for six. With additional Connect sets, the game can be combined for even larger groups. The box contains 3 game boards, 2 border boards, 168 playing pieces in 6 colours, 6 robbers, 24 markers, 150 resource tokens, 27 development tokens, 9 zip bags and a rulebook.
