Catan: Legend of the Conquerors – The Legend Continues 🏰⚔️

After Legend of the Sea Robbers, Klaus and Benjamin Teuber designed another legend for Cities & Knights. Catan: Legend of the Conquerors is a scenario collection for 3–4 players aged 14+, taking about 90–120 minutes, and you need both the Catan base game and the Cities & Knights expansion to play.

A powerful country from the Old World threatens Catan's freedom and independence. Over three chapters, you take on the role of commanders of the Catanian troops who together try to stop the conquest of the whole island and drive the conquerors away. Each chapter adds new and demanding game elements – forts, trade stations, foundries, horse farms, amber and wine – along with new progress cards and a directional die. You can play the chapters one after another as a continuing story, or pick a single chapter for an evening. The additional elements call for deep strategic thinking, and Catan describes this as the most intense challenge it has designed so far, so it is aimed at players who already know Cities & Knights well. A good fit for groups that want a fresh, story-driven challenge for their Catan collection. Please note: Catan editions in different languages are not always fully compatible, so use this scenario collection with the base game and Cities & Knights in the same language edition.
