Fans of Middle-earth, take your seats. The One Ring: Map of Eriador is a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle from the Lord of the Rings collection by Sophisticated Games, distributed by Thames & Kosmos and rated for ages 7 and up.

This jigsaw is based on The One Ring, a roleplaying game based on The Lord of the Rings books and published by Sophisticated Games. The artwork is a map of Eriador by Francesco Mattioli, a highly rated map artist who has created a large body of Middle-earth work. Piece by piece, the image comes together on your table, from the first edge pieces to the last details in the middle. A 1000-piece puzzle like this is challenging but enjoyable: it rewards patience, a good eye for colours and shapes, and a little teamwork if you share the table with family or friends. The puzzle is part of a whole collection of Lord of the Rings jigsaws featuring artists who have illustrated Tolkien's world, so it fits well next to the others on the shelf.
