Syllabus – Travel Through Dreams, Syllable by Syllable 🚀🌙

An original game with a language-based movement mechanism that develops children's imaginations. Syllabus by Urtis Sulinskas and Harris Tsagas, illustrated by Wouter Pasman, is a game from Gigamic for 2–4 young players, in about 15 minutes.

When the astronaut animals – Tiger, Panda, Crocodile and Octopus – woke up this morning, they realised they could no longer remember their dreams. What a shame – they were filled with such vivid pictures. Luckily, there's a way to help them remember: they must put on their spacesuits and travel from picture to picture across the sky to piece together their lost dreams. On your turn, you say a word that goes with the picture your astronaut is on, and then move across the sky grid – one space for every syllable of your word. Longer words take you further, so it pays to think of words with several syllables. The stars and the moon light the way. Be the first astronaut to collect the five stars of your colour and land on the moon to win. With double-sided pictures and sky grids, every game looks different, and the children can make up their own words each time.
