Extra Salt is an expansion for Sea Salt & Paper by Bruno Cathala and Théo Rivière from Bombyx. It adds 8 new cards with 5 new effects, and you need the base game to play.

Shuffle the new cards into the deck and your usual sea gets a few surprises. The jellyfish, played with swimmers, freezes your opponents for a moment. The lobster, played with a crab, lets you look at the top five cards of the draw pile and take one. The basket of crabs is worth 1 point for every crab you hold. The starfish, played with two duo cards, is worth 3 points but cancels the effect of those cards, so you have to decide what matters more. The seahorse can stand in for any card missing from one of your collections. Four rules cards explain the new effects at the table, and a winner card goes to the player who takes the game. The cards fit in the base game box, so you can keep everything together.
