Carnegie – Success Is More Than Wealth 🏭🚂

Andrew Carnegie was a major player in the United States' steel industry – one of the richest men in the world, and also a philanthropist and supporter of social causes. Who can become his equal? Carnegie by Xavier Georges, published by Pegasus Spiele, is a strategy game for 1–4 players aged 12+, with games of about 90–120 minutes.

Carnegie is an elegant and interactive management game. Players compete to grow their companies through shrewd investments in real estate, industry and transportation. On your company board, you add departments, place your employees and activate their actions at the right moment to move workers, earn goods and money, build projects across the country and develop transport links. Through careful observation of your opponents' choices, you find ways to take sole advantage of lucrative opportunities – timing matters as much as your long-term plan. In the end, the most successful player is victorious, but success is judged by more than one's wealth: to win, players must also contribute to the country's greatness through their deeds and generosity, and donations are part of the final score. With 45 solo cards, Carnegie can also be played alone. The box contains rulebooks in English and German.
