Looot – Plunder the Land, Build Your Fjord 🛶🪓

The moment they spotted your longships on the horizon, the inhabitants of this bountiful land fled. In Looot from Gigamic, you seize the commodities they left behind and plunder the almost undefended buildings to be crowned the next Jarl of the Vikings. For 2–4 players aged 10+, about 30–35 minutes.

On your turn, you must place one of your Vikings on the shared landscape board, next to another of your Vikings or a longship. You then take the matching resource – axe, wood, sheep or gold – and put it on an empty space of your own fjord. Your Vikings can also capture buildings: a house by placing a Viking next to it, a watchtower by linking two watchtowers with your Vikings, and a castle by chaining at least 4, 8 or 12 of your Vikings with one next to it. You can take a longship onto your fjord, but fill it with the resources it shows, because each unfilled longship costs 5 victory points at the end. Construction sites – ports, altars and jarl palaces – score when you surround them with the required resources and buildings, shields give a one-time advantage, and axes let you claim trophies. When all Vikings are placed, the player with the most points becomes the next Jarl.
