Two households, the Chauforts and the Cunningfields, both alike in dignity – if only there wasn't that ancient grudge. Catapult Feud from Vesuvius Media is a castle-building and catapult-launching game for 2 players: build your castle, set up your troops, load your catapult and use cunning tactics to conquer the floor.

As General, you lead your army to victory – or to a devastating defeat. Each player builds a castle on their player board using all 16 of their bricks and a gate, then places 5 troops on or around it. Keep about 1.5 metres between the two castles – a table works, but the floor is even better. The game is played in rounds, and each turn has four phases. In the Tactics phase, you may play one of your action cards. In the Aim phase, you move or rotate your catapult. Then you fire a boulder at your opponent's castle, and in the Cleanup phase you remove the bricks and troops that were knocked off the board. For each troop you lose, you draw a new action card. The player with the last troop standing wins. For a quick game, use the Quick Play rules: build, place your troops and start firing right away. Please use only the boulders and elastic bands provided with the game, and never aim at people or pets.
