Li-La-Loud – Loud and Quiet, Send the Fox on Its Journey 🦊👏

Not too loud, not too soft – Li-La-Loud by Reinhard Staupe is a lively noise-and-guess card game for 2 to 6 players aged 5 and up, where getting the volume just right is everything.

Nine target cards lie face up in a circle, with the little car parked next to one of them. The noise-maker secretly draws a task card. It shows which noise to make – clapping, hissing like a snake or knocking on the table – and which target card the car should reach. Now comes the tricky part: the further the car has to go, the louder the noise must be. A very soft noise moves it one card, a really loud one sends it all the way round the circle. Everyone else listens closely and guesses where the car will stop. Every correct guesser gets a task card as a reward, and if at least one player is right, the noise-maker gets one too. When the pile is empty, the player with the most cards wins. Families can also invent their own noises, like stamping feet or tapping the box.

👏 Make Some Noise

Clap, hiss or knock – as loud as the card asks.

🦊 Round the Circle

The louder the noise, the further the car travels.

👂 Listen and Guess

Who can tell exactly how loud it was?

🎉 Everyone Scores

Right guesses reward both guesser and noise-maker.
