Nova Luna – Tasks Around the Moon Wheel 🌙🔶

An elegant puzzle of colours and timing. Nova Luna by Uwe Rosenberg, based on an idea by Corné van Moorsel and published by Edition Spielwiese, is a tile-laying game for 1 to 4 players aged 8 and up, in about 20 to 30 minutes.

The tiles lie in a circle around the moon wheel. On your turn, you choose one of the next three tiles clockwise from the moon marker, move the marker to that space and then move your own disc forward on the wheel by the number printed on the tile. Whoever is furthest behind takes the next turn, so cheap tiles can give you several turns in a row, while expensive ones may pay off later. You place each tile you take straight into your personal display. Every tile shows tasks: a task is fulfilled when the tile is surrounded by orthogonally adjacent tiles of the required colours – and then you cover it with one of your discs. Tiles you place later can complete tasks on tiles you placed earlier, so good planning pays off. The first player to place all their discs wins the game. A solo mode is included, and the box contains a moon wheel, a moon marker, 68 tiles in four colours and 84 discs.
