Spots – Dogs Have Spots, Dice Have Spots 🐶🎲

Dogs have spots. Dice have spots. Spots from CMYK is a game about rolling dice, pushing your luck – and dogs. For 1–4 players aged 8+, published in German by Pegasus Spiele.

Each player starts with a small dog pack of two dog cards, a yard, a treat and one die. On your turn, you either do a trick or score your dogs. To do a trick, choose one of the face-up trick tiles, flip it face down and follow its steps – most of them tell you to roll dice. You may place rolled dice on matching spaces on any of your dogs: a die showing 4 spots goes on a space with 4 spots. Dice you can't (or don't want to) place must be buried in your yard. And if the buried dice add up to more than 7, you bust: your turn ends and you lose the dice on your dogs and in your yard. Treats help, because you can spend one to reroll your whole last roll. Complete your dogs to score them – whoever scores 6 dogs wins. Spots is simple to learn, but it has enough crunch to make every turn interesting, and you get to laugh at your friends when they take a big risk and bust. A solo mode against the d0g opponent is included.
