Cities of Splendor – Four New Ways to Play Splendor 💎🏰

Leave the comforting familiarity of the European gem trade and travel to the Orient, where new rules and cards invite you to adapt your strategies. Cities of Splendor from Space Cowboys is an expansion for Splendor for 2–4 players aged 10+, with games of about 30 minutes.

With four expansions in a single box, Cities of Splendor opens the door to new levels of replayability without sacrificing the elegance of the original game. Each module can be added to the base game on its own. In The Cities, city tiles replace the nobles: at the end of your turn, take a city if you meet its requirements in prestige and card bonuses – the first city claimed ends the game. In The Trading Posts, a board with coats of arms rewards you for meeting card-bonus requirements: place a coat of arms to gain that power for the rest of the game. The Orient adds 30 new cards with special effects to the development cards. In The Strongholds, after buying a card you place or move one of your strongholds on a card on the table, or remove an opponent's – a card with your stronghold can only be bought or reserved by you, and three of your strongholds on one card let you buy it right away. Please note: the base game Splendor is required to play.
